General conditions<\/b><\/p>\n

  1. Bookings<\/b>
    \n
    \n<\/span>Sm\u00fbk B.V. only accepts bookings from persons of 18 years and older.<\/span>
    \n
    \n<\/span>We reserve the right at all times – without giving reasons – to refuse a booking.<\/span><\/li>\n
  2. Group bookings<\/b>
    \n
    \n<\/span>Special conditions may be imposed on the accompaniment of a group, among others,<\/span>
    \n
    \n<\/span>while purpose and size of the group may result in a group not being accepted in certain cases.<\/span><\/li>\n
  3. Payment terms<\/b>
    <\/span>Upon reservation, we charge a 30% deposit.<\/span>
    <\/span>The deposit must be paid within 24 hours, after which the booking is final.<\/span>
    <\/span>No rights can be derived from a booking, which is not paid within these 24 hours.<\/span>
    <\/span>If you have made a reservation with a third party, please contact them directly for terms and handling.<\/b>The balance of the booking amount is due 6 weeks before arrival.\n

    If payment of invoiced amounts is not timely or incomplete, we will send a payment reminder.<\/p>\n

    If the amount is not in our possession within 7 days of sending the payment reminder, we will send a (final) payment reminder (reminder).<\/p>\n

    If the amount is not in our possession within 7 days of sending the final payment reminder (demand), we will unilaterally dissolve the agreement and will notify the guest. A cancellation fee of 30% of the total trip price (equal to the deposit) will be withheld at that time, so that we suffer as little damage as possible from the cancelled booking.<\/p>\n

    1. Cancellation Policy<\/b>
      <\/span>We will only process a cancellation by email.<\/span>
      <\/span>– Cancellation within 24 hours of booking entitles you to a full refund of the booking amount.<\/span>
      <\/span>– If cancelled up to the 42nd day before the start of the stay, the cancellation fee is 30% of the travel sum.<\/span>
      <\/span>– For cancellation from the 42nd day to the 28th day before the start of the stay, the cancellation fee is 60% of the travel sum.<\/span>
      <\/span>– In case of cancellation from the 28th day to the 8<\/span>e<\/span> day before the start of the stay, the cancellation fee is 75% of the travel sum.<\/span>
      <\/span>– If cancelled within 7 days before the arrival day or later, the cancellation fee is 100% of the travel price.<\/span>
      <\/span>For cancellation terms, the arrival day, as mentioned in the reservation confirmation, applies.<\/span>

      In the case of a Covid-19 infection in the travel party:<\/b>
      <\/b>Please contact us prior to arrival regarding your booking.<\/span>
      <\/span>In case of a contamination in the travel party, you can change your booking to a later time, up to a maximum of 18 months after the original arrival date.
      <\/span>
      <\/b>In case you want to rebook to a more expensive or cheaper period, the price difference will apply and the stay will be recalculated.<\/b>
      <\/b>An official positive PCR test is required as proof to take advantage of this additional condition.<\/b><\/p>\n

      1. Liability<\/b>
        <\/b>Use of the accommodation and facilities at Sm\u00fbk B.V. is entirely at the risk of the renter and users.<\/span>
        <\/span>We accept no liability for:<\/span>
        <\/span>– theft, loss or damage of any kind during or as a result of the stay at our farm;<\/span>
        <\/span>– the disabling or rendering inoperative of technical equipment and the failure or closure of facilities, or utility failures<\/span>
        <\/span>– More specifically, as far as Covid-19 is concerned, everyone bears their own responsibility in this and any consequences that Covid-19 may have are for their own account.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        The renter and those accompanying him or her are jointly and severally liable for all loss and\/or damage arising as a direct or indirect result of their stay, whether caused by their own acts or omissions or by third parties who, through their actions, are jointly and severally liable for all damage caused by any animal and\/or property in their possession.<\/span><\/p>\n

        Additional (cleaning) costs may be charged in case of improper use or improper abandonment of the accommodation, see also house rules.<\/span><\/p>\n
