The store is modestly laid out with chock-fresh produce from the land. There are fondue pans and farmhouse cheese. In the freezer you will find fresh meat from the Red and White cow. Don’t feel like cooking?<\/strong> Then have a delicious stew with meat from our own farm. You can taste that the animals have had a nice life. Would you also like to enjoy a sustainable piece of meat at home?<\/strong> You can also order meat packages online. The nice thing is that the Friesian red and white cow is a rare breed, so ordering feels like a surprise every time. You order what is available.<\/p>\n

After getting a bottle of wine from the farm shop, you can hear the wood crackling in the fireplace of the hot tub.<\/span> What a fantastic idea to rent a residence with hot tub!<\/strong> You uncork the wine and light the candles. The silence of the outdoors makes you dream away. You enjoy the warmth of the wood fire you just lit. When the water is hot enough, actually a little too hot, immerse yourself. What would it be like to live on a farm?<\/strong> You fantasize about baking pies in a farmhouse kitchen. Just going to order Crista’s tomorrow, they seem to be very tasty. You try to imagine what the barn looked like when there were cows in it. Crista explained that each window in the barn stood for 2 cows. By counting the windows, nervous bachelors and their families used to determine how wealthy a farm’s families were. And now you get your fresh sandwiches there in the morning.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The farm is versatile and there is always lots to do.<\/strong> At parting, there will be plenty left on your list for next time. In the living room you play games and get some cup of coffee. You can walk endlessly and grab a terrace in Echtenerbrug or Lemmer. On pizza night the wood oven is lit<\/strong> and you can bake your own pizza together with the other guests.<\/span><\/p>\n

Are you in the mood for action?<\/strong> Even then there is plenty to do on the farm! Feel like a true Frisian and go fierljeppen by one of the ditches, or pack your gear and go fishing, swimming and canoeing or Paddle boarding. Need a breath of fresh air? Take a walk through the Rottige Meente, a special landscape consisting of ditches and reed beds. For a visit to Lemmer or cute Sloten, hop on a bike from the farm.<\/strong> Also, don’t forget to experience Friesland in all its glory with an electric sloop on Lake Tjeukemeer.<\/p>\n
