On holiday with a group: beautiful bell tents at Smûk

We have fully equipped bell tents. Everything you need. Have you ever slept in a bell tent? The ridge is meters high and you’ll sleep wonderfully under the white cotton. We have the ‘Lytse’: six tents together, with a cozy farmhouse table in the middle of the field where you can eat together or enjoy a coffee in the sun. And because the two- to three-person bell tents are fully furnished (including beds), no one has to lug bags around for an hour first. You cook together in the covered outdoor kitchen. This style of camping will even convince those friends who don’t actually like camping. Just enjoy!

[/et_pb_text][et_pb_text _builder_version=”4.27.6″ _module_preset=”default” text_text_color=”#000000″ ul_font_size=”15px” header_2_text_color=”#7F634E” global_colors_info=”{}”]

Rent a few fully equipped bell tents for a small group: the Grutte Bells

We have the six bell tents, but just a bit further along there are three more of those beautiful bell tents: the Grutte Bells. Just like the Lytses, these are beautiful cotton tents that are fully furnished. With one big difference: they aren’t in a circle, but open out onto the wide fields. This way you camp together, but with a bit more privacy. So, do you want to go luxury camping with your family, friends, or other families, but also love reading a book in a comfy chair without seeing anyone for a while? Then this is the perfect holiday spot.

Group accommodation with both privacy and togetherness

At most group accommodations, you all sleep under one roof. Not at Smûk. here, every couple, family, or friend has their own cottage, tent, or camping pitch, yet you are together on the same yard. That makes the difference. You can retreat whenever you want. And when you feel like company, you just step outside.

At Smûk, you can all book the same type of accommodation, or a mix. Everyone sleeps their own way, and that is exactly the strength of the farmyard. Choose what suits you.

Four luxury tent cottages side by side, each with its own fire pit (outdoor cooking!), outdoor shower, and toilet. The comfort of a cottage, the feeling of sleeping outdoors. With a double bed and a bunk bed, it’s ideal for families, but just as good for couples or friends who enjoy staying in style.

Enjoying together, living outdoors

At Smûk, there are plenty of places where a group naturally comes together. Here are the facilities that are extra nice for groups.

A separate, heated space that you can have all to yourselves as a group. Everyone sleeps in their own nature cottage or tent, but you meet again around the long farmhouse table. Breakfast together, gourmet dining, drinks, and catching up.

%22Voor onze jaarlijkse KICK-OFF gingen we naar SMUK in Echtenerbrug.

Friesland around the corner

Smûk is located near Tjeukemeer, the largest lake in Friesland. You can sail right there from the jetty. But there is more to discover.
Take a bike ride through the polder. Hike through the Rottige Meente or the Weerribben. Discover the small Frisian towns of Sloten, Lemmer, or Joure. Go swimming together at the beach in Echtenerbrug. A favorite outing for groups is a visit to Pantropica with its butterfly garden and alpacas—the kids love it.
